The simplest event possible, consists of a title, speaker, dates, description, plus attached files. It does not contain a timetable.

You should choose to create a conference only if you need advanced features such as call for abstract, registration form, accomodation form, etc. The Conference type creates a real web portal to your event, not just a timetable.


Usually a presentation taking place within a session or slot.


A time slot to help organise your conference timetable. Can contain slots, contributions and breaks.


A session can be split into slots, can be used when the session happens over more than one period of time. Can contain contributions and breaks.


Often topics or areas in which to start organising your conference. Can contain abstracts and contributions.
