SMC Colloquium (Managers: Polovyna, O.)

The SMC Stockholm mathematics centre Colloquium offers lectures by leading researchers directed to a broad audience of the mathematical interested.

The colloquia are scheduled three or four times during each term, usually on Wednesday afternoons, and are held in the Oskar Klein auditorium at Albanova.

The programme is usually as follows. It starts with a preparatory lecture intended for advanced students and PhD-students:

  • 13.15 - 15.00 Pre-colloquium for master students and PhD-students
  • 15.15 - 16.15 Colloquium lecture by an invited speaker
  • 16.15 - 17.00 Coffee/tea and social get-together for all participants
